Liam Graham is a Scottish-born Australian actor known for his emotionally raw performances and quietly magnetic screen presence. He is best recognised for his regular roles as Tyler in ABC's The Heights, Damo in cult web series The Legend of Gavin Tanner, and Michael in the Danish-Australian drama Greenfield, which earned him a Best Actor nomination at the West Australian Screen Awards and later the Best Actor win at the Nordic International Film Festival. After immigrating to Western Australia as an infant, Graham grew up in Perth and the coastal town of Denmark. A suggestion from his grandmother led him to his first drama class at age seven-originally intended to help him overcome shyness. Reluctant at first, he returned the following term voluntarily, and a career in performance began. Graham's film work spans a range of genres, from psychological thrillers to surreal noir. His screen credits include Hounds of Love (dir. Ben Young), OtherLife, Bad Girl (alongside Samara Weaving), and the stylised indie feature Burning Kiss, in which he stars as lead Max Woods. He also featured in Blumhouse/Hulu's Into the Dark: Uncanny Annie and the romantic drama I Met a Girl. Known for his expressive, emotionally transparent performances, Graham often plays characters navigating trauma, obsession, and isolation, with a physicality shaped by his training in theatre. He spent several formative years devising original works with the Western Australian Youth Theatre Company (WAYTCo), developing an early understanding of character embodiment and collaborative storytelling. Off-screen, Graham is also a visual artist. His multidisciplinary work often explores memory, landscape, and nostalgia-recurring themes that echo his on-screen choices. Whilst private, he's open about the emotional toll and personal growth acting demands. He is also a mental health advocate and has participated in public campaigns including Think Mental Health. In 2015, he collaborated with the Youth Affairs Council of WA on a youth mental health and homelessness summit, giving voice to lived experiences through case study readings. Graham resides in Queensland with his daughters.
