Former NBC Writers on the Verge finalist Pepper Reed is a Genre TV Writer who uses the fantasy, supernatural, and science fiction tropes to tell personal narratives.
Originally from Oklahoma, Pepper grew up reading atop the palace-shaped playhouse her Dad built for her. After living in cities as diverse as Portland and Paris and working an assortment of jobs from waiting tables to trying not to stab herself in the face while doing phone tech support, she got to learn film production on set as a Script Supervisor. She is a member of IATSE Local 484.
Pepper's scripts have advanced in several contests and fellowships including Sundance Episodic Lab and the Austin Film Festival. She graduated with a BFA in Acting from NYU.
