Patrick Raats has been working in animation for over thirty years. He started working in the field as a self-educated stop-motion animator and stop-motion director. As a co-owner of PEDRI animation (Netherlands) he created many commercials and animated series. Since 2015 he directs animated series and features in all techniques as a freelance director. For many years Patrick taught animation at the ARTEZ academy.
