Rebecca Culverhouse

Rebecca Culverhouse is a neurodiverse artist filmmaker from Burnley in Northern England. She is most known for Pu Ekaw Tnod (2023) which premiered at BFI London Film Festival and screened at BAFTA and Oscar qualifying festivals including Slamdance Film Festival, Tampere Film Festival and Oska Bright Film Festival. Her previous experimental horror #eatpretty (2018) was commissioned by Channel 4's Random Acts, and an official selection of BAFTA qualifying festivals such as Underwire Film Festival and London Short Film Festival. It also played on Shudder as part of Access:Horror 2025, toured cinemas across the UK as part of The Final Girls Presents: We Are The Weirdos and exhibited at notable art spaces including The South London Gallery, National Science and Media Museum, Ugly Duck and Leeds Old Red Bus Station.
