Biography

Zahira Barneto is a production designer originally trained as a fine artist, who draws her roots from the underground art scene of Madrid. She gradually dropped her pencils and brushes to experiment with drafting and 3D modeling while working with different architect firms. Also versed in carpentry and scenic arts, Mrs. Barneto is versatile and adaptable, not afraid to tackle new environments. The possibility of conceiving new spaces is what drives her ambition on a daily basis.

To expand her scope of expression, she decided to join the prestigious Macguffin agency as a creative, developing concepts and ideas for projects of international stature for clients such as Real Madrid, BBVA, Banesto, Airbus, McDonalds and Renault. Strong affinities in the European fashion, art and film industries led her to freelance, producing designs in diverse fields ranging from award-winning independent films to music video and art installations for galleries.

Adventurous and avid of professional experiences that enrich each member of the team, Zahira allows her collaborations to evolve naturally and believes that as human beings, we can create anything. Both in tune with the aesthetic and the practical, she is a graduate from Madrid's Complutense University and ESIC, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Fine Arts, and in Bachelor in Bussiness Administration. Mrs. Barneto resides in New York City.
