What lies inside the forbidden room? A dark night sees a woman die violently, leaving a grieving family and a once vibrant room closed and forgotten. When broken down cars trap Diana and later Valerie, fate ties in those remaining, daughter Marilyn and her distraught father. Though warned to never enter the mother's room, bright lights and shrill creaks emanating from within lure the innocent toward the door. As the father's strange behaviors begin to surface, local officials make their presence known. Strange dreams splinter Diana's sleep, begging her to run but insisting that she stay, to seek what dares lie beyond the closed door ... of the forbidden room.
