Biography

Patricia Hetherington studied at Victoria University of Wellington, New Zealand. She completed a BA in Film, a BMus in Composition, and a BA(Hons) in Film. Whilst studying, she ran the Music & Artists Social Club (MASC), which ran gigs and events in Wellington. She began producing short films in 2009. In 2012, she moved to London, UK. In July 2013, she took part in the inaugural Action On The Side weekend filmmaking project. From October 2013, she helped organise the project, taking over in 2014. She has taught film and media production at Undergraduate and Further Education levels since 2014.

Originally from Wellington, New Zealand. Now based in London, United Kingdom.

Has taught undergraduate film on the Raindance Higher National Diploma (HND) Programme since September 2016. Taught film producing and video skills as an Adjunct Professor at Hult International Business School, July 2013 to March 2015.

Since October 2012, organises a collaborative London-based filmmaking project, Action On The Side, where filmmakers make a short film in a month. Includes running script development. Since March 2015, runs a regular script development meeting, Scriptwriters On The Side.
