Biography

Diana Maiocco was born in Corona, NY. She graduated with a communications degree and entered into a career that would span over 20 years in television media buying and management for NYC based corporations American Home Products and Unilever, United States. With a passion for the creative side of the entertainment business, Diana relocated to LA in September 2005 where she met writer-director Ryan Katzenbach. They produced the DVD series "Shattered Hopes: The True Story of the Amityville Murders" which also had a successful 3 year run as a 2-hour movie on REELZ from 2014 through 2017. Elated with her first producing success, Diana continues to work with other talented independent filmmakers with compelling stories to tell such as "Making Montgomery Clift" and the Emmy nominated "Love, Gilda". She was also nominated for an Emmy Award (Michigan Chapter) for co-producing the documentary "Heartprints in the Snow" with writer/director Robert Michael.

On a personal note, Diana was the Media Director of the fan site Moonlighting in the 21st Century where she interviewed the cast and crew of the Emmy Award winning series "Moonlighting", starring Bruce Willis and Cybill Shepherd. The fan site, which caught the attention of Lionsgate, facilitated the release of the series on DVD in 2005. Diana is prominently featured on the bonus feature "The Moonlighting Phenomenon" on the Seasons 1 & 2 release.
