Jeff Bobo is known for Just Another Racer: The Randy Bethea Story (2012), A New Home for Virgie (2011) and No Place to Go (2018).

A print journalist since 1991, Jeff Bobo evolved into documentary filmmaking after years of creating online news videos to compliment his newspaper articles. A magnet for sensational news, on eight occasions Jeff's articles were picked up by the Tonight Show With Jay Leno for use in the monologue or other comedy segments. His article have also been used on Real Time with Bill Maher, Fox News, Fox Sports Live, ABC Nightly News, BBC News, Tru TV and his crowning achievement, Mad Magazine.

During a hiatus from Journalism in the mid-1990s Jeff Bobo worked as the Project Manager in charge of Building Maintenance at the Lincoln Park Zoo in Chicago, during which time he studied improv the the nearby Second City Theater,.

Jeff Bobo competed in the NASCAR Weekly Racing Series in Virginia and Tennessee throughout the 2000s. He earned seven feature wins and placed second in the track championship point standings twice (2004, 2007). Jeff has competed on several historic NASCAR race tracks including Bristol Motor Speedway, Nashville Fairgrounds Speedway, and Hickory Motor Speedway. He was known as "The Racing Reporter".
