Manuel Santiago Renken

Manuel Santiago Renken was born in Bogotá, Colombia, in 1980 and grew up in Kirchheim unter Teck (Baden Württemberg, Germany). Between 1990 and 1998, he attended the Odenwaldschule Oberhambach (Hesse, Germany), where he discovered his love of theatre and film, particularly acting. After completing his training as a retail salesman, he moved to Munich (Bavaria, Germany) in 2002 to study acting at the state-accredited Gmelin Acting Studio. In 2005 he successfully completed his studies, qualifying as a stage actor, and has been working as a freelance actor ever since. In April 2006, he made his debut with the Neues Münchner Schauspielensemble in a production of Seneca’s *Medea*. Since then, he has appeared in 62 theatre, film, television, short film and commercial productions. Manuel Santiago Renken lives with his family near Munich.
