Biography

  • Born in Brussels in 1984, Alexia Depicker is a Belgian actress trained at the Institut des Arts de Diffusion and the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama in London.

Her career spans cinema, television and theatre. She made her mark in cinema in 2009 with Ian Menoyot's Idioma, which earned her an acting award in Paris, and went on to appear in La mécanique de l'ombre, La Religieuse and Lukas Dhont's Girl. On television, she has appeared in series such as La Trêve, Transferts and Into the Night.

The last few years have marked an important step in her career. She played a significant role in Milano by Christina Vandekerckhove, praised for its intensity and depth. She continued this momentum with two major television productions: Ethernel (Nicolas Boucart and Olivier Tollet) and Vital (Gary Seghers and Julien Henry), which confirmed her ability to play complex characters and renew constantly her approach to acting.

On stage, she has performed at many Belgian theatres (Les Tanneurs, Le Rideau, Les Martyrs, etc.) and participated in international workshops, notably with Amir Reza Koheestani and Mariano Pensotti. In 2019, she was selected by the Berlinale for its Talents programme.

Her mastery of languages, her curiosity and her sensitivity nourish her acting and open her work to the world. Both on stage and on screen, she strives to bring depth and authenticity to the stories she tells.
