- Julian Terry was born in Chicago Illinois. After he failed intro to film class at Columbia College, he left for Los Angeles. He is a Director, DP, and Editor. He is known for his work on Discovery Channel, BuzzFeed, and Pixomondo. After winning the Annabelle Creation short film competition he found a love for making viral horror short films.

- Chuck Vinson let him stay in his guest room in exchange for filming his projects. He lived with Chuck and his family for 2 months. Julian described Chuck as "Fletcher" from Whiplash. Chuck would go over every frame Julian shot and tell him how he messed up.
- First horror short was The Nurse.
- Julian drove on his own from Chicago to LA. When he arrived he had no connections, no job and less than $200 bucks in his wallet. Thankfully a director, Chuck Vinson, liked his first short film (Puppy Love) so much that he gave him a room to sleep in as well as a chance to help on set.
