He will appear in the upcoming seventh season of Virgin River, Netflix's longest-running original series, as Clay, a rodeo hand who grew up in foster care and is now searching for his long-lost sister. His short film Breathe, which he wrote and directed, premiered at international festivals and received critical acclaim, winning Best First-Time Director at both the Vancouver Short Film Festival and the Brussels Capital Film Festival, as well as Best Short Film at the Titan International Film Festival.

Outside of film, Cody is deeply rooted in the theatre community. He has performed with numerous companies in Vancouver and Los Angeles, including Ark Theatre Company, The Blank Theatre, and United Players of Vancouver. He is the founder and Artistic Director of Vagrant Players Theatre Society, where he has produced, directed, and performed in over a dozen productions, including the world premiere of Pot Kettle Black by Bill Marchant.
