Biography

Jasmine Chen is a Leo and Dora Award nominated actor for screen, stage, voice and video games. Trained in dance, classical theatre, musical theatre, and contemporary performance, Jasmine has performed on stages across Canada. She is the recipient of the Jon Kaplan Legacy Canadian Stage Performer Award, the Gina Wilkinson Award for Female Directors, the Stratford Festival Jean Gascon Award, and a Toronto Harold Award.

Jasmine's stage highlights include the Stratford Festival of Canada, the Shaw Festival, Royal Manitoba Theatre Centre, Canadian Stage, and the Arts Club Theatre. Her work has been featured in CBC Arts, NOW Magazine, The Georgia Straight, Stir Magazine, Intermission Magazine, Fête Chinoise Magazine, Vancouver Sun, and Toronto Star. Jasmine voices the character of Knower in the Peabody Award winning video game 1000xRESIST, published by Fellow Traveller.
