Marla Seidell is a versatile Chicago-based actor, writer, and producer known for bringing complex, "perfectly messy" characters to life with humor, vulnerability, and raw authenticity.

With over 40 film credits, she excels in dramatic comedy, grounded indie drama, period pieces, and high-energy comedy. Recent highlights include starring in the 2026 festival-circuit comedy Lightning Lotto and winning Best Supporting Actress for her portrayal of a fading B-movie star in Private Screening - a role that showcased her signature blend of desperation and deadpan humor.

Marla is a member of Phi Beta Kappa and graduated from Hofstra University. She later moved to the Netherlands after being awarded a Fulbright Scholarship.
