Stephanie Dorceant

At the young age of 23, Stephanie Dorceant, who held a lucrative corporate sales position at the time, chose against all odds to quit her job in order to move to New York to concentrate on what she loved most, which is writing and film-making. Having graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Creative Writing in 2008 from Florida State University, she had many years of experience writing, but only recently chose to fully hone in on her skills. She now works as a freelance writer, having written everything from scripts to blogs. One of her first scripts, "HeArts of Vengeance" was made into a SAG short film in 2010 and received lots of acclaim and recognition by other local filmmakers. Her previous venture with a small production company helped her to learn the ropes about the intense and fast-paced film industry. With the great experiences she's had thus far, her decision to pursue her passion in writing and film-making has proven to be the best decision she's ever made thus far.
