- Luke McGibney is an Irish actor working across theatre, film and television.
Born in London’s East End and shaped by his formative years in Dublin, he trained on scholarship at the Oxford School of Drama before making his professional debut at the Royal Court Theatre in London.
His work spans stage and screen, including productions at the Royal Court, Oxford Playhouse, West Yorkshire Playhouse and Sydney Opera House. Screen credits include the character-lead role of Lord Mountbatten in Sony’s award-winning historical drama Freedom at Midnight.
McGibney has worked internationally for more than twenty years across the UK, Ireland, India and the United States.
