Andrew Mauney is an American actor known for portraying intelligent authority figures and emotionally layered protectors across film, television, and theater. His work often centers on grounded, capable men navigating high-stakes environments with restraint and depth.
Originally from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Mauney began performing at a young age before earning a degree in Management Information Systems from Miami University in Ohio. After a brief career in corporate America, he moved to New York City to train at the American Musical and Dramatic Academy (AMDA), where he focused on both musical theater and on-camera work.
He has since built a career spanning stage and screen, performing in New York City, regionally, and on national tours, in addition to appearing in film and television projects. Mauney is a member of SAG-AFTRA and Actors’ Equity Association.
Outside of acting, he works as a personal trainer and photographer in New York City.
