Biography

Andrew C. Richey is a producer, editor, and assistant director, known for Code Black (2013), Fig (2011) and Love Land (2014). Andrew grew up in West Texas where he fell in love with the stage as a child. He is an alumnus of Southwestern University receiving a B.F.A. in Theatre from the Sarofim School of Fine Arts. While there, he studied film and theatre in London. After university, he spent time as a Special Education Instructor in Hutto, Texas until he traveled to Taiwan where he taught English and Theatre for several years. He returned to the States, and received his M.F.A. from the University of Southern California's prestigious School of Cinematic Arts. In addition to his work in film, Andrew regularly directs theatre. He has been married to Michelle Richey since August 1, 2009.
