Jerome Brooks Jr.

Jerome Brooks, Jr. is a South Carolina native and is known for his work on Art= (Love)2 as Josh McKee. He was the Dueling Piano Player in Amazon's Z: The Beginning Of Everything. He was the Choir Director & Vocal Arranger for Power Season 5 Episode 1. He can be seen as the keyboardist in commercials and on the cover of the Rock Band 3 video game. He joined the Recording Academy as a Voting Member in 2008 and has written, produced, engineered, and performed as an Artist on over a dozen projects in various genres like Progressive R&B, Gospel, Musical Theater, Pop, and Urbano Latino, which can all be found on streaming platforms. His 2025 release of Songs For Mom features 2024 Grammy Winner and Tony Award Nominee Natasha Yvette Williams in memory of his late mother. This project was Mastered By Mark B. Christensen, who has Mastered for Toni Braxton, Fergie, Boyz II Men, The Killers, SZA, Trey Songz, and 50 Cent. He's done studio work with Emmy Winner RuPaul, and co-wrote the 2011 Musical Soundtrack Love Happened By Chance featuring Ayana George from MJ on Broadway. He has a BFA in Music Theatre with a Piano Minor from Shenandoah Conservatory.
