Sara Phoenix

Sara Phoenix was born in Marietta, GA . She was a writer from a young age and a high school theater nerd. She received a B.A. in Film from Georgia State University and after a brief stint as a medieval reenactor, she returned to school to become a high school English teacher. During that tenure, she earned an M.A. in Professional Writing from Kennesaw State University and an MFA in Creative Writing from Reinhardt University. Sprinkled in between all of that are various stints in New York, Chicago, and Atlanta in improv and sketch writing programs. Sara is an avid traveler, especially of the American West.
