Stefan Bellof was born on November 20, 1957 in Gießen, Hesse, Germany [ex-West Germany]. He died on September 1, 1985 in Spa-Francorchamps, Belgium.

Ex-Formula One racing driver, who raced for Tyrrell (1984 (11 GPs Disqualified)-1985 (9 GPs)). He started 20 Grands Prix and 4 Points. Best ranked in the World Championship: 16th in 1985.

Teammates in Formula One were: Martin Brundle and Stefan Johansson.

Champion: World Endurance (1984), Deutsche Rennsport Meisterschaft (1984), German Formula Ford 1600 (1980).

The iconic helmet design of German racing driver Stefan Bellof was created in 1982 by his girlfriend, Angelika Langner.
