- Julianne Donelle's award-winning short film, Just A Drill, was recently chosen for Short of the Week. It won Best Drama at Female Voices Rock in New York, and Best Scripted Short at Flicks 4 Change. Julianne has received Best Director awards at the Female Filmmakers Fuse Festival, and at the Global Impact Festival in Washington D.C.
She created, wrote, and directed the comedic web series, No Pillow Fights in which she received a Discovery Award nomination at the Raindance Film Festival in London. Julianne has directed several other short films, "Split Second", starring Jessica Parker Kennedy, the darkly comedic experimental short, "The Merry Man," and a western titled "Outlaws" that she filmed with the Women's Weekend Film Challenge.
With a prominent theatre background, she has directed theatrical productions with Ovation award-winning Coeurage Theatre Company including Assassins, Cannibal! The Musical, and Emilie: La Marquise Du Châtelet Defends Her Life Tonight.
