Biography

James Cox is an accomplished and award-winning Stunt Double, Assistant-Stunt Coordinator, & Stunt Coordinator. Joining the prestigious British Stunt Register (BSR) in 2010, he has worked extensively across film, TV, and commercials.

Cox has worked extensively as a Stunt Double for some of Hollywood's most recognisable and well known actors, including Chris Evans, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Daniel Craig, Jake Gyllenhaal, Ewan McGregor, Joel Edgerton, Ben Mendelsohn, Ralph Fiennes, Luke Evans, Vincent Cassel.

His career to date has included work on numerous world-renowned productions such as Star Wars, Game of Thrones, the Marvel Cinematic Universe, the DC Extended Universe, and the Bond series, working with acclaimed directors including Steven Spielberg, Christopher Nolan, Bong Joon Ho, Patty Jenkins, Danny Boyle, Chloé Zhao, J.J. Abrams, and more.

Having met the British Stunt Register's (BSR) high standards of peer reviewed practical experience, knowledge, and industry-specific H&S training, 2025 saw James achieve the grade of BSR: Full Member/Stunt Coordinator (a title held by just 114 stunt professionals worldwide).
