Biography

John Klymshyn was born in Ventura, CA in 1985 to his mother and father John and Terri.

John knew at a very young that he was going to work in the entertainment industry. He was just 7 years old when "Jurassic Park" was released, and his father took him to the theaters to see it. After the credits rolled John was hooked on making movies.

He started out as a child, shooting movies with his younger sister, and his action figures.

After High School John moved to the East Coast to become a film editor. After schooling he relocated to Los Angeles where he was given his first Post Production job.

John worked as an Assistant Editor and Vault Coordinator at The CW Plus at 21 years old. After the writers strike took most of his departments jobs, John moved on to the biggest advertising house in Hollywood. The Ant Farm. Specializing in Theatrical Trailers, and Video Game advertising.

After leaving The Ant Farm, John took on a freelance lifestyle as an Editor. He then started gripping for independent projects, also learning how to be an Assistant Camera operator, and a Production Coordinator, and Assistant Director.

In the summer of 2011 he was offered a position on a feature film titled "A Christmas Wedding Tail" as 1st Assistant Director.

That film was his break into 1st and 2nd Assistant Directing. A few months after wrapping, he was called onto be the Production Coordinator and 2nd Assistant Director on a handful of other independent feature films.

John is now shopping his original screenplay around the independent market, looking for funding so he can show the world what he's been waiting to show them
