Mini bio

  • Born in Zabrze, Poland, he is a Polish-Danish singer, songwriter, voice actor, and TV personality of mixed Polish and Ukrainian descent. His father was a Ukrainian who ran a newspaper stand and a hardware store in Poland and his mother was from the Silesian region and taught Polish language. When he was six, his parents emigrated to Denmark with him and his sister. They lived in a refugee camp in Jutland for about six months before relocating first to Taastrup, and then to Brøndby Strand in the suburbs of Copenhagen. Mozil has played the piano and the accordion since childhood, and as a teenager, he did various odd jobs while studying in a music school in Copenhagen and playing with his first band, Brøndby Harmonika Klub. He graduated from the Royal Danish Academy of Music, where he studied the accordion. In 2000, he co-founded the band Tesco Value with his friends, and in 2002 they released their self-titled first album. After graduation, he joined a children's theatre group, with which he traveled to around Denmark, as well as to Syria, Lebanon, and Jordan. In 2008, his first solo album, Debiut, was released in Poland under the pseudonym Czeslaw Spiewa (Polish for Czeslaw Sings). The album was a big success, winning Mozil the most important awards of the Polish music business and starting his music career in Poland. Between 2011 and 2014 he served as a judge in all four seasons of The X Factor Poland (2011) and in 2022 he was a judge in the third season of Lego Masters: Poland (2020). He continues to release music regularly and has branched out into voice acting, acting, and broadcasting, as well as entrepreneurship as an owner of two Warsaw restaurants.
