Christian La Morte

Christian La Morte is a writer, director and editor best known for The Mix (2025) and Boy Code (2016). His films explore morally complex characters navigating modern tensions through a raw, stylized, and deeply personal lens. The Mix received several award nominations and was reviewed by Film Threat as "The 2020s equivalent to Sidney Lumet's Network." His short film Boy Code screened at major festivals in the U.S. and abroad, including Filmfestival Max Ophüls Preis and Cannes Court Métrage, garnering nominations and praise for it's perspective on misguided young men in America. Christian is originally from New Jersey, lived a decade in New York City and now resides in Los Angeles, where he's working on two feature film projects.
