- Shane Borza is an award-winning filmmaker, author, and elite leadership advisor specializing in high-stakes performance and crisis management for showrunners, creators, and enterprise leaders. Originally from New York, he spent twenty years as a professional bigwall climber, aid soloist, and wilderness guide. A lifelong writer, he transitioned into cinema through creative collaborations, advising industry colleagues on script development, narrative structure, and editorial pacing.
Following an overseas tour of duty in the military, Borza relocated to Sydney, Australia, where he studied filmmaking, completed stunt academy training, and worked on multiple independent features. It was there he wrote and directed his debut feature film, Turbines.
Upon returning to the United States, Borza settled in Los Angeles, spending nearly a decade working in high-volume post-production environments for legacy industry giants Deluxe and Technicolor. His directorial and production feature credits include Turbines, El Cap Wedding, Climb On, Sydney Stories, and Lesbian Western The Feature. He is in development on three upcoming narrative features, including Save Papa Pine.
In tandem with his creative slate, Borza is a Master Certified Coach (MCC) through the International Coaching Federation (ICF) and a HIPAA Certified Mental Health Coach with over 9,400 logged client hours. He maintains a discrete, confidential advisory practice tailored to media executives, founders, and showrunners navigating high-velocity operational pressure and strategic pivots.
