Born and raised in the vibrant cultural hub of London's Notting Hill, Matthew is an experienced British actor and vocalist of Jamaican and St Lucian heritage. Deeply connected to his roots within the Commonwealth and broader African diaspora, he has utilised his theatrical skills to perform live at themed landmark heritage events.

Standing at a striking 6'3", Matthew pairs his outstanding physical presence with an innate warmth, humor, and a collaborative spirit. Embracing a protective "big brother" energy alongside a profound respect for his colleagues, he is a trusted and approachable peer. Matthew is also a highly adaptable, globally mobile artist who has lived, worked and travelled extensively across Europe and the Caribbean adding to his deeper artistic and culturally immersive experiences, including the major hubs of Greece, Spain, Italy, Malta and Jamaica.

A natural talent from a young age, walking London Fashion Week's runway at just nine years old, Matthew’s athletic build and connection to his heritage has made him a sought after talent for editorial and high-fashion Urban/African styling. This includes featured on-screen appearances in music videos for Patoranking ("Higher") and Mercury Prize and Brit Award winners Ezra Collective ("No Confusion").

Making his foray into featured film roles, he performs as a Jazz Band leader in new creature feature, "Hungry" (Dir: James Nunn of "One Shot" trilogy), will portray a police officer in upcoming drama "Easy" (Dir: Luke Eve) and a sports coach alongside Pop stars, the Elevator Boys, in their debut Amazon MGM Studios feature, "Back to the 90's".

Matthew also showcases sharp linguistic versatility, creating a distinguished French accent for his upcoming role in "The Madame Blanc Mysteries". Alongside TV & film, global commercial campaigns that have utilised him for his accents include Philips and high-profile voiceover work for Barbasol.

Grateful for the many distinct and incredible opportunities, Matthew shared a scene with Denzel Washington in Gladiator II, and provided professional Stand-In support on Gareth Edwards' Jurassic World Rebirth (2025) and StudioCanal's star-studded adaptation of The Magic Faraway Tree (2026) which has made his industry understanding and appreciation more holistic and well-rounded.

Matthew is a veteran of the international entertainment circuit and has performed a Classic Soul tribute to icons such as Barry White, Billy Ocean and Motown legends for 15 years. Utilising his powerful and highly versatile vocal range he captures the deep, resonant weight of White's bass up to the higher registers of Michael Jackson's falsetto. This gifted vocal mastery coupled with his disciplined Air Cadet training culminated in an extraordinary opportunity at Pinewood Studios during the shooting of Academy Award-winner Alejandro G. Iñárritu’s highly anticipated, blockbuster film "Digger" (2026) starring Tom Cruise, where Matthew was brought in as part of a vocal team to provide specialized, high-energy vocal stylings for the directing and choreography team's pivotal scenes.
