Overview

  • Born
    December 29, 1984 · France

Biography

  • Born in Rennes, in the West of France, in 1984, he had always been enamored with the world of Cinema. The desire and zest to tell a story with a different vision brought him to a cinema school in Brittany where he directed his first short film "Film noir", a tip of the hat to the cinema-noir style of filmmaking. Shifting base to Morocco for 5 years after his studies, he had been first assistant director on many movies, and scriptwriter on two television series and three feature films, all granted by the Moroccan Cinematographic Center. His second directorial venture, shot near Casablanca in Morocco, "Killing me softly", is an unconventional multi layered story of a couple on the edge of breaking up, which was screened in many festivals in Morocco and France. He came back to France, directing his last short, "Le pigeon" ("The sucker"), which relates a sting between poker players. It was screened and awarded in many festivals all around the world. In 2018, he directs another short movie, "Les fossoyeurs" ("Gravediggers"), screened and awarded in festivals in France, USA, and India. In 2021, he directs a new short, "Rats", starring the UFC fighter Mehdi Baghdad and the rapper Reta. The movie is in post-production, while preparing his first feature film, "To the shelter".
