Biography

Anna Salvini was born Anna Pier Alessandra Salvini in Newport Beach, California. The baby of the family, she resides in Laguna Beach with her parents, older brother and sister. When she was just seven years old, her vocal coach encouraged her to audition at a local professional theater for one of the children in the popular musical, Sound of Music. She landed the role of Gretl and has since entertained live audiences in numerous professional musical theater productions throughout Southern California. Her enthusiasm for performing has expanded to include a budding career in film where she has been featured in several student thesis films. Her comedic timing has provided her with the opportunity to work with several creative Internet artists and her shorts can be viewed on the popular websites FunnyOrDie.com, the midnight show, and Channel101.com.

Anna has been taking ballet, jazz, lyrical and tap dancing lessons since she was a toddler. She also has received training in ballroom dancing and has learned how to tango and salsa with other children her age. When not in school or in rehearsals, Anna enjoys spending time with her friends and family.

Anna Salvini was born and raised in California where she began acting at a young age; She booked a handful of roles in professional theater productions, short films, obscure films, and internet comedies such as funnyordie.com and The Midnight Show.

This sparked an interest in training. She auditioned for the nationally recognized, Orange County School of the Arts (OCSA) at 12 years old and was admitted, beginning her study of theater and acting throughout high school. There she worked with many reputable performers such as Tony Award Winners and Oscar Nominees such as Kate Baldwin, John Bolton, Jessica Lea Patty, Ali Stroker, and Chazz Palminteri, to name a few.

After high school, she invested further in her acting training and began studying at the prestigious, University of Los Angeles, California (UCLA) in the school of Theater, Film and Television (TFT). Here she has taken an array of different acting and performing classes, creating an even more well-rounded performer and human being.

Although she has been training, this has not stopped her from booking TV shows like The Goldbergs on ABC in which she was showcased singing.

She is wrapping her time up at UCLA and beginning to work in the industry. Her training will be an enormous asset to her as she navigates this exciting time.
