Terry S. Mercer is known for 127 Hours (2010) and Search & Rescue (2011).

He was the actual helicopter pilot who rescued Aron Ralston, after he cut off his own arm. His arm had been pinned between a boulder and a canyon wall. Aron's story is told in the movie 127 Hours.
