Biography

Daniel C.

Overview

  • Height
    5′ 8″ (1.73 m)

Biography

  • Daniel C was born in Taipei, Taiwan, and until the age of 7, was raised with his younger sister, Elizabeth, by his birth mother. They were then adopted into the Chaffin family in Kaneohe, Oahu, which already included 10 other children! Daniel loves his big family, and says his upbringing was a lot like the "Cheaper By the Dozen," movies.

Daniel already could only see two clear paths for his future at the ripe age of 11, and was determined to either become a professional actor or Disney animator. He chose acting. Ms. Johnson, his high-school mentor at Mid Pacific School of the Arts, referred him to audition for 3 arts schools in California , in order to train and pursue his acting dreams. After traveling from Hawaii to Los Angeles to audition with his Dad, his powerful Hamlet monologue got him accepted into all 3 schools. He then proudly graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) in Acting, as an alumnus of ironically, Disney's California Institute of the Arts (CalArts). After graduating, he soon received his Actors Equity Union membership, and has since been seen in stage shows, commercials, and now feature films. Daniel was recently a speaking co-star in Netflix's #1 sketch comedy series "I Think You Should Leave" starring opposite lead actor, Tim Robinson. He was also a part of the wonderful cast as a speaking co-star for NBC's hit series "Magnum P.I." opposite lead actress Perdita Weeks and was honored and blessed to be directed by the series lead, Jay Hernandez!
