  • Georgina Liossi is a Greek actress working in theatre, television and film. She studied Psychology and Philosophy at Deree - The American College of Greece and continued postgraduate studies in Criminology at Sapienza University of Rome. On stage she has collaborated with a number of notable Greek directors, including Thomas Moschopoulos, Sofia Pashou, Giorgos Kimoulis, Dimos Avdeliodis, Petros Filippidis and Christos Karasavvidis, appearing in productions such as To Sklavi by Xenia Kalogeropoulou, Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf? by Edward Albee, Lolita by Vladimir Nabokov, The Four Little Girls by Pablo Picasso and The Suppliants by Euripides. In cinema she played the leading role in Nobody (2010) directed by Hristos Nikoleris, earning a nomination for Best Actress at the Hellenic Film Academy Awards in 2010. Her other film appearances include Yawth (2018) and Sad Girl Weekend (2019) by Lida Vartzioti and Dimitris Tsakaleas, Stardust (2021) by Spyros Maltezos, Love in the End (2013) by Vasilis Kehagias and Blue Memories (2019) by Klaus Shehaj. She became widely known to television audiences through her role in the popular ANT1 series Tamam (2014), which aired for three consecutive seasons.
