Biography

Andy Schwartz, SOC has worked on films, TV shows, documentaries and commercials for over 20 years as a Camera Operator, DP and Steadicam Operator. He's a proud member of the International Cinematographers Guild IATSE Local 600, the Society of Camera Operators (SOC) & the Steadicam Operators Association (SOA). He instructs Steadicam alongside its inventor Garrett Brown at the Steadicam Operators Association workshop where he has formed lifelong friendships and collaborations. He is also directing a documentary feature on Garrett Brown and his contribution to movies, television and sports and the community he has fostered for over 50 years.
