Shaka Walker is an actor, model, producer, poet, and recording artist from Camden, New Jersey now based in Los Angeles. He began his creative journey in festival recognized LGBTQ indie films where he developed a reputation for emotionally layered performances and grounded character work. His early screen credits include roles in Change and Deadbeat A Story of a Broken Home along with a featured appearance in The Poet of Fierce Secrets.

In addition to acting Shaka is a spoken word performer and recording artist. His album Love and Heartbreak blends poetry and auto-tune to explore identity romance and emotional transformation. His work has been featured on LGBTQ radio platforms and continues to expand across digital spaces.

Shaka brings a reflective expressive style to every project drawing from his East Coast upbringing and his commitment to authentic Black queer storytelling. He continues to build a body of work that bridges film music and performance art.

Shaka Walker received the Rising Star Award in 2007 from his high school drama club, honoring his standout performances and early promise as an actor.

Shaka Walker received the Senior Leadership Award from Mercer County Performing Arts High School, honoring his outstanding dedication and leadership within the school&#39;s drama program.
