Thacio Palanca is a sound editor, re-recording mixer, and sound supervisor with over 20 years in film and advertising post-production. He has worked on films like Get the Gringo (2012), Snitch (2013), Senna (2010), The Ballad of a Hustler (2023), Those Who Hustle (2023), and 19, collaborating with directors including Andrew Niccol, Mike Newell, and Fernando Meirelles.
In advertising, Thacio has contributed to campaigns for brands such as McDonald's, Audi, Visa, Mercedes-Benz, Heineken, Itaú, Nestlé, Samsung, and Netflix, using sound as a vital storytelling element.
Based in São Paulo, he offers full audio post-production services worldwide, including dialogue editing, Foley, SFX, music, and immersive mixes.
His work has earned over 40 Cannes Lions, two Grand Prix, Clio Awards, D&AD, Ciclope Latino, and a Latin Grammy credit.
