Biography

Guy Latraverse was born on July 5, 1939 in Chicoutimi, Québec, Canada. He was a producer, known for Samedi de rire (1985), Fallu plaisante! (2010) and Notre père (2006). He was married to Michelle Dionne and Catherine Haller. He died on October 14, 2023 in Montréal, Québec Canada.

As artists' manager, his clients included Jean Lapointe, Claude Léveillée, Jean-Pierre Ferland, Robert Charlebois and Diane Dufresne. He also produced shows in French Canada for Charles Aznavour, Petula Clark, Julien Clerc, Léo Ferré and Raymond Devos. He initiated the Francofolies in Montréal. He is the brother of Louise Latraverse.

He is also a co-founder of an health help organization for depression and bipolarity now called Revivre.
