Mrs. Mullen Pacheco is a powerhouse of creative vision and legal expertise, seamlessly blending her passion for storytelling with the precision of her legal training. Born and raised in Puerto Rico, she launched her academic journey at Georgetown University, earning a Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, and International Affairs. She later studied Law at the University of Puerto Rico and earned her MBA from the University of Miami, rounding out a formidable foundation for her multifaceted career. In 2018, she added to her credentials with the prestigious MPXA Master's in Executive Production, a program backed by the University of A Coruña. A lawyer by profession and a producer by calling, Mullen Pacheco has spent over fifteen years breathing life into fiction and documentary films across Puerto Rico and international markets. In 2013, her excellence in production was recognized when she was accepted into the Directors Guild of America as a Unit Production Manager. Through her production company, Belle Films, she champions bold, artisanal storytelling-created by women, about women, or for women. Belle Films not only develops original content but also offers production and consulting services, specializing in audiovisual production financing and navigating tax incentives. Her work spans high-profile clients and productions, including Sony Music, The Vessel, In the Blood, Reclaim, Ozuna, Extra Terrestres, ZDF's A Summer in Florida, and Extortion. Her recent creative portfolio showcases a vibrant range of narratives: . Documentaries like A Mermaid's Anatomy (Spain, 2022) and Unpacking (Puerto Rico, Dominican Republic, Spain, 2019), the latter which she also directed. . Short fiction such as The Sound of the Whale (Spain, 2021). . Her latest work includes writing, producing, and directing @love (Puerto Rico-Spain, 2025), a series exploring modern intimacy, and executive produced the acclaimed Esta Isla, which premiered and won multiple awards at the 2025 Tribeca Film Festival.
