- Pavel Klikar was born on January 26, 1954 in Prague, Czechoslovakia [now Czech Republic]. He was an actor, known for Modre z nebe (1983) and Julek (1980). He died on February 14, 2026 in the Czech Republic.
- In 1982 he established the vocal-instrumental ensemble Musica Antiqua Prague.
- In 1974 he founded the Original Prague Syncopatic Orchestra (OPSO), which became an insurmountable icon of the authentic interpretation of classical jazz and swing.
