- Mihai Arsene is a Romanian born actor, who after a successful stage career in Romania of more than 15 years, he made his UK debut in West End in 2009 with his One Man Show "A Sense of Delicacy" based on one of Chekhov's best short comic stories ("The Journal of a Quick Tempered Man"). This was an international premiere and opened at Leicester Square Theatre to wonderful reviews, one critic in particular - the regretted Stephen M. Hunt - noticing that "if Mihai is representative for the theatre industry in Romania, we in London have lost a lot".
In 2010 he was cast by BAFTA award winning director Joern Utkilen in the award winning short film Asylum, which marks Mihai's debut on screen.
Mihai Arsene is a formidable actor who has been involved in several notable projects. He made his break on TV with the EMMY nominated hit action series STRIKE BACK: Shadow Warfare, where he inherited the role of Leonid and shared the screen and the narrative with a legendary Romanian actor, none other than Marcel Iures.
Recently, in the new MARVEL TV mini-series Secret Invasion, he shares the screen with the legendary Samuel L. Jackson.
Mihai also gained recognition for his taxi-driver lead role in the award winning short film TWO STARS SHORT by receiving a NOMINATION for BEST ACTOR in A COMEDY.
Moreover, he showcased his talent in the BAFTA award-winning series Mood for BBC and in SNATCH TV series, playing alongside Rupert Grint. Netflix viewers might recognize him from his appearance in Young Wallander's. In addition, Mihai portrayed Constantin Zidaru, a terrifying mafia boss, in season 3 of the gripping drama Ransom for CBS.
Furthermore, Mihai's talent extends beyond the screen as he recently lent his voice to a new radio drama titled Splinter Cell: Firewall, produced by BBC for Ubisoft.
