Biography

Valerie VanderKolk is a Chicago based hair and makeup artist who works in film, television, photography, and as well as personal makeup and hair services. Valerie studied makeup at London Eyes International Academy of Makeup, and at Kosart Atelier, School for the Entertainment Arts. She studied Cosmetology at Tricoci University of Beauty Culture and holds a BA in Theatre (emphasis costume design) and a BA in Russian language from Michigan State University. Valerie grew up on a farm in western Michigan and now lives on the north side of Chicago with her loving husband, Paul, and their cat, Sebastian.
