Biography

  • Ngoc Le is a Vietnamese American actress. She was born in My Tho, Tien Giang, Vietnam, and raised in the Bay Area from the age of 10 as an only child who loved reading and nurturing her vivid imagination. She is also a proud Lupus warrior.

After completing her studies at UC Davis, where she majored in Technocultural Studies and Dramatic Arts, she attended a summer study abroad program at Yonsei University in Korea, focusing on Korean Cinema. She then moved to LA to study Producing at UCLA while continuing her acting training at Beverly Hills Playhouse. She is well-trained in Meisner, comedy, and improv at various well-respected schools.

Ngoc proudly works on projects that champion underrepresented communities and immigrant stories. Her early work as a producer on Jubilee Project's short film Blind Devotion (in partnership with Pastor Francis Chan) not only went viral-garnering over 30 million views-but also contributed to building a safe haven village for young women rescued from prostitution and a school for children.

Her TV acting credits include the Emmy-nominated primetime CBS show Bob Hearts Abishola. Over the years, she has acted in numerous acclaimed indie projects while also working as a casting director, producer, and in other filmmaking roles. She has been involved in projects showcased at film festivals such as Sundance, Tribeca, HollyShorts, SF Indie Fest, and more.

She is also an aspiring writer and director. She directed the documentary Rising From The Fall, which explores the perspectives of elders who survived the Vietnam War, their journey to the U.S., and the voices of the children they raised. The film won Best Short Documentary at the Silicon Valley Asian Pacific Film Festival in 2022.
