In 2017, he became the first American drag queen to perform in Cuba since the embargo.

Has had a selection of names used for his drag persona, the most well-known being Mimi Imfurst. The name he used during high school was Delilah DeMistra.

He was adopted at the age of 16 by a lesbian couple. The family would sleigh with snow dogs together.

During an episode of RuPaul's Drag Race, Mimi Imfurst was lip syncing for her place in the competition against fellow drag queen, India Ferrah. During the performance, Mimi decided to lift India over her shoulder, making a highly infamous decision and making way for her elimination.
