Born in Santa Maria de la Paz, Zacatecas, Mexico, she moved to California at a young age, where she later built her career in film production alongside her husband, filmmaker Luis Huizar.

In March 2005, she co-founded Producciones Huizar, helping develop and produce numerous original feature films distributed across digital platforms including YouTube, Tubi, Pluto TV, Roku, and other streaming services.
