Biography

Surinamese-born Dutch professional kick boxer and mixed martial artist. In kickboxing, he is a former It's Showtime Champion, and in MMA he was the Cage Rage Light Heavyweight Champion. Formerly competed for Strikeforce, Dream, Rings, It's Showtime, K-1, One FC, and KSW.

Retired from Kickboxing competition, with a victory over his nemesis Remy Bonjasky in 2017. He previously lost 3 fights against Bonjasky, with one loss being very controversial.

Started training in soccer, until his younger brother Moreno, and his uncle who was also a Kickboxer, introduced him to Muay Thai.

Together with his brother, Manhoef founded a Kickboxing and MMA-promotion named World Fighting League (WFL).

His nephew Ismael Londt and his cousin Cedric Manhoef are also professional Kickboxers.
