Molly Smith Metzler

Molly Smith Metzler is the creator and showrunner of two Emmy-nominated limited series, MAID and SIRENS. Produced alongside John Wells and Margot Robbie's LuckyChap Entertainment, MAID spent 14+ weeks on Netflix’s Top 10 and was nominated for multiple Golden Globes, Critics Choice Awards, and Emmy Awards, including a writing nomination for Metzler. MAID won the WGA Award for Outstanding Writing of a Limited Series and was named a "TV Program of the Year" by AFI. SIRENS spent 8+ weeks on Netflix’s Top 10 and hit #1 in 91 countries. It was nominated for multiple Emmy Awards, Critics Choice Awards, and a WGA Award. TV credits: CASUAL (Hulu), OITNB (Netflix) and four seasons of SHAMELESS (Showtime). She is also an award-winning playwright, best known for her play CRY IT OUT, which has been produced all over the world. Proud alumnus of NYU Tisch and The Juilliard School.
