While at Q107, Dave wrote and produced numerous comedic radio IDs with actor John Candy, which Candy voiced as various characters that he portrayed on SCTV.

Produced 2 kid's audio books for "The Screech Owls Adventure Series" (Roy MacGregor)...with members of the Toronto Maple Leafs, including Doug Gilmour, Mats Sundin, Wendel Clark, Mike Gartner, and Tie Domi. Honoured at center ice by the Leafs during Hockey Night in Canada.

Produced the song "Waiting", a tribute to our troops, written by Peter Haley, sung by Basia Lyjak. Proceeds to WoundedWarriors.ca.

Dave Barker wrote Q107/Blue Jays parody songs, which appeared on each of the Toronto Blue Jays three albums, with proceeds to the Variety Club of Ontario, supporting physically challenged children.
