Missy Finnell is a Regional Associate Casting Director with 16 years of experience in film, television, and commercials. Throughout her career, she's contributed to over 40 film and television projects across three states, discovering new talent and supporting union initiatives.
Missy earned her BA in Cinema and Digital arts from Point Park University in Pittsburgh, PA. In 2011 she joined IATSE local 489 as a Costume Coordinator, eventually moving into casting full-time alongside Emmy award-winning casting director Donna Belajac, where she has been for over a decade.
She is a proud member of the CSA (Casting Society) as well as the Television Academy. She received her first two Artios Award nominations alongside Alexa L. Fogel, Elizabeth Berra, Rich Delia, Adam Richards and Donna Belajac for her work on the films 'Judas and the Black Messiah' and 'Happiest Season'. In 2024 she was nominated again for the film 'Rustin' alongside Avy Kaufman, Scotty Anderson and Donna Belajac, as well as the series 'A League of Their Own' alongside Felecia Fasano, Katie Lantz, and Donna Belajac. All projects she feels incredibly lucky to have been a part of.
