Biography

Miah Allsman is a Minnesota-based storyteller and film director whose work blends horror, dark fantasy, and character-driven suspense. He began his creative career in portrait photography at the turn of the century, developing a visual eye that would later shape his transition into narrative filmmaking.

In 2008, Allsman wrote and self-published a limited edition graphic novel, Frank Bill in Reality Check, marking his first major step into long-form storytelling. He went on to collaborate on several local film projects before returning to college to formally study screenwriting and cinematic craft.

In 2012, he co-authored and directed the Lewis Carroll inspired feature Through Dark Glass. The following year, he competed in the Minneapolis 48 Hour Film Project, where his team earned awards for Best Costumes and Best Use of Dialogue.

Allsman continued to refine his craft at Minneapolis Community and Technical College, earning an AAS in Screenwriting in 2014, along with certificates in Cinema Production and Cinema Studies.

In 2024, he created Fear Feed, a web-based vertical mini horror anthology series. Serving as creator, writer, and director, Allsman develops original episodes that explore psychological dread, body horror, and modern folklore through a fast-paced, visually driven format designed for digital audiences.

In addition to his film work, Allsman is the author of a series of horror ebooks published on Amazon Kindle, expanding his storytelling into prose with works that emphasize psychological tension, visceral imagery, and dark thematic elements.
